A small craft project

Today I want to show you a quick item I made. On my last Temu order, I purchased a silicone jar mold. I want to make one for my desk in my home office.

The items I used to make my resin jar are shown above. I used Amazing clear resin, I used a mask( the fumes shouldn’t be breathe in ), gloves, measuring cups. mixing cup, resin ink, silicone mat as well as a resin mixer.

To mix the resin , it’s a two part process in which there is a part A and a part B. It is mixed at a 1 to 1 ratio. I used the measuring cups to make sure my ratio is correct. I did protect myself by using the mask as well as the gloves before mixing the resin. After I mixed the resin parts together I used the yellow resin ink to add color and continued to mix. Once everything was mixed correctly I added it to my mold. I put my mold outside and let it cure. I let it cure for around four or five hours , but usually let it sit for 12 to 24 hours.
