I’m sorry I’ve haven’t been blogging in awhile. I just want to give you a quick update of what’s been going on. So next week is a big week for me, I’m moving to a new apartment. I’ve been packing and haven’t had a chance to work on any projects. I still have been keep track of projects I’m planning on doing, but I don’t have the time to execute them. So anyway back to the move. I’m moving from New York to Florida. This is a big move for me because I’ve been in New York all my life and this is where my family lives. Some of you are probably saying why Florida. Well two answers. The last time I went there on vacation we stayed in a residential hotel and I finally got the feel for living there. Usually we stay on Disney property and you know how that is, going out to eat, maid service, buses taking you to the parks. Well the last time we had an apartment which we didn’t have maid service, we had a kitchen and rooms we had to maintain. We had to cook our own food, wash our own dishes so on and so forth. The second is my daughter got a job there upon finishing her internship ship and said she wanted me to be her “roommate ” along with her friend. So at this point I said why not. So here I am packing for a move which will be happening next Sunday when me and my dog fly there.

I will be back with my project as soon as possible,so I ask you to stick around to see my new projects as well as I organize my new spaces.

And as always

This is how we do it

Hey how is everyone. Thank you for returning to my blog.I have good news to share but you have to come back tomorrow if you wish to know. Today I have a project to share. In a haul I shared these wooden mini crates.I saw these crates and like a crafter had to come up with an idea to use these. So I came up with a great project. I took these crates and painted them with some paints I picked up at Target. After I painted them, i used some wood glue to attached them. After glueing them together,I come up with another idea and I purchase four more. I once again I painted them and attached them.(I didn’t take pictures of that process). When the project was done this is what i came up with.I made a display case. I will be hanging it up on the wall, and putting some of my small trinkets on it. Here is just an ideal of what you can use it for.It can also be used to display craft supplies as well as paints. The possibility is unless.

So I hope you will come back tomorrow ,but until then

How I organize my fabrics

Hi and welcome back to my blog. I decided to do a quick blog on how I’m trying to organize my fabrics. This is just to give you an idea on how I will be organizing my fabrics. I have all types of fabrics, I have felt, foam, vinyl, plastic, interfacing and stabilizers. I decided to use ziplock bags to sort my fabrics. The only mistake I made using this idea was I picked up the wrong size bags, or maybe it was just I had more fabric than I realize I had.As shown I separated my fabric items and placed different bags. I put foam, interfacing and stabilizer in one bag, vinyl and plastic pieces in another bag. I put all my fabric pieces that fit in one bag and all the felt in another. I wanted to organize my fabrics so when I want to sew, all I have to do pick a bag of fabric and sew. In the future ,I will show you how I reorganize my fabrics in larger bags. Some times the Dollar Tree carry large storage bags. If I find them I will share that with you and I will also show you how I redo my fabric. So I will bring this blog to an end until next time, and as always,
